Martin's pan/shovel

Lots of people dropping by the shop today, including Martin who was on his virgin ride with his new bike. He is now on his way back to the garage to figure out why it keeps cutting out, so I guess you can say it's a classic first trip where there are still a few things that need to be tweaked to have it running smoothly.

First opening day

Well well well.
Here are some pictures from the first day we opened the doors. We didn't have any plans for a big launch, since we will be hosting the Grand Opening Party on May 26. (Watch out for the poster, coming soon)
After all, 40 friends turned up and greeted, gave us bottles with strong liquor and brought various wheels, from '36 Ford Pickup, an Indian, a bunch of Harleys and some more obscure german 2-strokers.

Well enjoy some pictures, taken by our very talented friend Robert Lund, who is not only great with a camera, but also has one of the coolest scandinavian bands, Kitty Wu, working on a new album right now.

OK Bye.

Motorious - now online!

Hello internet!
After fiddling around in the shop for some months now, we have settled in, and are ready to open up a small window to the online world.
We are firm believers that a shop like Motorious should be experienced from the inside, in the real world. But to satisfy our foreign friends and 2-wheeled family from far away, we now created this blog, which will be our main website, untill something more website-ish is made. Who knows when...

To briefly describe our concept this is said:

Motorious is located in the historic setting of Vesterbro, Copenhagen. The shop is an adventurous oasis stuffed with vintage motorcycle parts, obscure accessories and the junk you didn't know you need. We also stock a very fine selection of hand picked clothing brands, catering your needs for quality clothing, that will last for many miles on the open roads.
You will find new clothing from Dickies, Powerplant Motorcycles, Dice Magazine, LeBeef, Frye Boots and others.
On top of that we will be stocking a selection of vintage leathers, helmets and other fancy accessories to dress up with.

On the parts side, we buy, trade and sell old and NOS parts for vintage motorcycles. We mostly work with vintage american iron, but will also be exploring other nationalities as we go.

We take your old parts in commission, if you have stuff you want to part with.
This also means that there will be a steady flow of interesting items coming through the shop, at very decent prices.

We believe in a good bargain and please bear this in mind when putting things in comission.

We also stock the most common new spare parts for old Harleys, ie. gaskets, chains, oil and so on.

Here on the blog we will try to give you an idea of what items passes through the shop and give you all a chance to be first movers when we get new parts in.

We should also inform you that our opening hours in the shop are as follows:

Wedensday: 12.00-18.00
Thursday : 12.00-18.00
Friday : 12.00-18.00
Saturday : 10.00 - 16.00

We don't have a phone, but you can email us on

We look forward to showing you all the great stuff that goes on in Motorious!
